Our Future-Ready Learning Mandate
Calgary International Academy’s mandate is closely aligned with the OECD’s vision for the future of education. By integrating the Alberta Program of Studies, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, and STEAM education, the Academy combines academic rigour with inquiry, innovation, creativity, ethical responsibility, and global citizenship. Students develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values needed not merely to adapt to a rapidly changing world, but to help shape it. In an era when many of tomorrow’s careers have yet to exist, Calgary International Academy prepares future-ready learners who can think critically, work across disciplines, use emerging technologies responsibly, solve complex real-world problems, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider world.
